On July 2, 1996, Masimo Corporation announced a Product
Development and Licensing Agreement under which Datascope Corp. (NASDAQ:DSCP)
will integrate Masimo’s pulse oximetry signal processing and sensor
technologies. Datascope is a leading manufacturer of patient monitoring systems
and is adopting Masimo Signal Extraction Technology (Masimo SET®) to
strengthen its core monitoring capability.
